Tracking Dog Studios is a professional recording facility located in Shellharbour, NSW. Owned and operated by music producer Rod Motbey, who has a very impressive array of experience in the music industry spanning 20 plus years.

Our vision at Tracking Dog Studios is to provide clients with high quality recordings across a wide variety of genres.

 

Rod is best known for his skills as a session guitarist for some of Australia's most respected artists including Shannon Noll, The Choirboys and Wendy Matthews as well as numerous high profile Australian Country Music Artists such as Adam Harvey, Lee Kernaghan and Melinda Schneider.

 

Having spent many hours gaining experience with some of Australia's leading producers and engineers has fuelled Rod's passion for music production. He has recently been working with many artists to help them achieve first class production in a creative and relaxed environment.

 

With Rod's ability to play multiple instruments, his innovative production/engineering skills and his access to some of the finest musicians in the industry, he offers his clients a rate of quality & efficiency that is extremely beneficial when it comes to meeting deadlines and budgets.
